Lesson 7 Just a moment, please!
一、教材分析:
前兩個(gè)單元我們學(xué)習(xí)了如何向別人借用電話以及打電話時(shí)的一些常用語(yǔ),例如怎么介紹自己和詢問(wèn)別人是誰(shuí),在實(shí)際生活中,我們打電話時(shí),要找的人不一定就在電話旁邊接電話,所以如何請(qǐng)求接電話者轉(zhuǎn)接呢?本節(jié)課我們就要學(xué)習(xí)如何請(qǐng)求接電話者轉(zhuǎn)接電話。
二、教學(xué)目標(biāo):
(一)語(yǔ)言目標(biāo):
1)繼續(xù)學(xué)習(xí)打電話的常用語(yǔ)。This is … speaking. Is that …speaking? Wait a moment.
2) 學(xué)習(xí)幫助別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話。Is …in? Sorry, wait a moment.
3) 會(huì)說(shuō)會(huì)用會(huì)拼會(huì)寫這些單詞和短語(yǔ):call, do some washing, wait, a CD.
4)掌握現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)的含義,表達(dá)方法和正確運(yùn)用。 She is doing some washing. Who is call能夠?
三、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)分析:
1.掌握怎樣詢問(wèn)電話中的對(duì)方以及給別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話時(shí)的常用語(yǔ),例如,Is that …speaking? \ Wait a moment. She is not in.
2.理解現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)所表達(dá)的是現(xiàn)在正在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作。
四、課前準(zhǔn)備:
教師準(zhǔn)備玩具電話,以及本課的單詞卡片, wait, call, wait, a CD.
五、教學(xué)過(guò)程:
1. 熱身(Warming up)
1) 教師和學(xué)生一起來(lái)唱上節(jié)課所學(xué)的歌曲 Let’s sing together
活躍課堂氣氛。
2) 教師和學(xué)生做幾組TPR 活動(dòng),來(lái)復(fù)習(xí)以前學(xué)過(guò)的短語(yǔ)。為后面學(xué)習(xí)現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)做鋪墊。
T:Good morning, class.
Ss: Morning, teacher.
T: Are you happy today?
Ss: Yes, we are very happy.
T: OK. I’m happy ,too. Let’s play a guessing game. Are you ready?
Ss: Yes. We are ready.
T does the action and Ss guess what it is.
Draw a picture, sweep the floor, water the flowers, read some books, play the piano, play the computer game…
教師還可以請(qǐng)一個(gè)同學(xué)來(lái)做動(dòng)作,讓別的同學(xué)猜是什么短語(yǔ)。
2.新課展示(New Presentation)
教師借助單詞卡片來(lái)教授本課的常用語(yǔ)和重要語(yǔ)法點(diǎn)。
1) 教師向?qū)W生做出打電話的動(dòng)作,讓同學(xué)們猜是什么單詞。從而引出單詞 phone. 教師出示卡片---call,告訴同學(xué)們這兩個(gè)單詞意思相同,而且它們都有兩個(gè)詞性,名詞和動(dòng)詞。 我們經(jīng)?梢哉f(shuō):
I’ll give you a phone.
I’ll give you a call.
這樣的句子還可以說(shuō)成
I’ll phone you.
I’ll call you.
2) 在打電話時(shí),我們經(jīng)常會(huì)遇到想要找的人沒(méi)有接電話,而是別人接的電話,我們應(yīng)該學(xué)會(huì)給別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話。
教師讓學(xué)生聽(tīng)課文錄音一遍,要求學(xué)生學(xué)完以后,能夠回答提出來(lái)的問(wèn)題:Where is this telephone from ? Who does Wang Nan want to speak in the phone? Who answered the telephone?What is Helen doing? Is she reading?
在聽(tīng)過(guò)第一遍課文以后,要求學(xué)生能夠回答前三個(gè)問(wèn)題.
This telephone is from Wang Nan.
Wang Fang wants to speak to Helen.
Linda answered the telephone.
教師讓學(xué)生再聽(tīng)一遍課文錄音,聽(tīng)聽(tīng)Linda 在轉(zhuǎn)接電話時(shí)
的常用語(yǔ)。
Is Helen in?
Yes, but wait a moment. She is busy.
這部分內(nèi)容是本課的重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容。介詞in的原意是在…里面,在這里它還有“在家”的意思。其反義詞則為“out”, 例如,
She is in today. Is she in today?
He is out today.
當(dāng)我們給別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話,經(jīng)常要說(shuō)這樣一個(gè)短語(yǔ) wait a moment或者a moment, please. 或者 hold on ,please. 這幾個(gè)短語(yǔ)可用于多種情況下,例如,在餐廳點(diǎn)菜,服務(wù)員經(jīng)常會(huì)給我們說(shuō)。
3)教師讓學(xué)生再聽(tīng)第三遍錄音,并且要求學(xué)生找出課文中所有加上了-ing 的單詞或是短語(yǔ)。

教師將這幾個(gè)動(dòng)詞展示在黑板上,用紅筆勾出-ing 部分,先領(lǐng)讀這幾個(gè)短語(yǔ),讓學(xué)生掌握-ing 動(dòng)詞的發(fā)音。然后教師向?qū)W生解釋現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)的含義,表達(dá)方法和正確運(yùn)用。
現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)是指在現(xiàn)在正在發(fā)生的動(dòng)作和事情,它的構(gòu)成是系動(dòng)詞-am, is, are和動(dòng)詞-ing(現(xiàn)在分詞)組合起來(lái)。經(jīng)常和now, at this moment等表示現(xiàn)在時(shí)間的狀語(yǔ)連用。
教師向?qū)W生出示課前復(fù)習(xí)的短語(yǔ),引導(dǎo)學(xué)生造句。
I am reading a book.
She is doing her homework.
He is speaking to you.
You are playing computer games.
We are singing and dancing.
They are running.
通過(guò)句子,教師給學(xué)生總結(jié)出動(dòng)詞加-ing的規(guī)則。末尾有不發(fā)音“e”的去掉“e”加-ing,以輔音字母結(jié)尾的重音在第一個(gè)音節(jié)上的單音節(jié)單詞要雙寫末尾的輔音字母,再加-ing. 其它的就可以直接加-ing。
3.小結(jié):
本課我們學(xué)習(xí)了向別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話的常用語(yǔ),以及現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)的含義,結(jié)構(gòu),正確用法。還有動(dòng)詞加-ing的規(guī)則。
4.鞏固活動(dòng):
1)4人一組,教師將學(xué)生分成若干組,要求學(xué)生在規(guī)定時(shí)間內(nèi)自編對(duì)話,以給別人轉(zhuǎn)接電話的內(nèi)容為主,在班里展示。
2)教師將全班分成男女兩組,快速出示以前所學(xué)的動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ),要求學(xué)生也能快速將短語(yǔ)變成動(dòng)詞現(xiàn)在分詞,說(shuō)出正確的句子,鞏固練習(xí)。
3)教師后播放錄音,學(xué)生聽(tīng),并且跟讀。
4) Let’s practise(1)
A: In this practice, we should know the meanings of several words and phrases. ‘Just a moment, in, that’s OK.’ Here when we have to hold the telephone, we can see ‘wait a moment.’ So ‘just a moment’ equals to ‘wait a moment.’ The adverb ‘in’ means ‘a(chǎn)t home’. So here we can use ‘She’s out‘or ’She went out.’ ‘That’s OK’ means ‘It doesn’t matter’.

5) Let’s practise(2)
A: In this exercise, firstly when should be clear about the content of the telephone message. We know this message is from Jack to Linda at half past ten on June 21st. Jack wants Linda to do some shopping with him that afternoon. He need Linda to call back. 新課標(biāo)第 一網(wǎng)
做這道題時(shí),我們首先要很清楚電話的內(nèi)容。例如電話是7月21日10點(diǎn)半Jack打給Linda的。他想邀請(qǐng)Linda那天下午和他一起去購(gòu)物。他要求Linda給他回電話。
Kate: Hello?
Jack: Hello! Is Linda there?
Kate: No, this is Kate. Just a moment.
Sorry, she’s out.
Jack: Oh. I want to go shopping with her this afternoon. Could you ask her to call me back when she comes back?
Kate: OK. No problem.
Jack: Thanks.
