工作職責(zé)
微軟亞洲研究院公關(guān)組正在招募一位全職的平面設(shè)計(jì)實(shí)習(xí)生，將與公關(guān)組緊密協(xié)作，制作
視覺(jué)上具有吸引力和感染力的宣傳材料。申請(qǐng)者需要對(duì)微軟的設(shè)計(jì)風(fēng)格（常被大眾稱為 “
Modern”或“Metro”）有專業(yè)的理解。

該實(shí)習(xí)生將會(huì)負(fù)責(zé)為微軟亞洲研究院制作各類電子和實(shí)體的宣傳材料，包括：
•為微軟亞洲研究院多個(gè)線上平臺(tái)（、微博、人人和博客）的宣傳推廣設(shè)計(jì)并
制作各類圖片和信息圖。
•負(fù)責(zé)公關(guān)組日常的宣傳材料的設(shè)計(jì)，包括每月和每季度的Newsletter，以及每季
度的期刊雜志。
•設(shè)計(jì)并制作公關(guān)活動(dòng)的系列宣傳材料，包括電子郵件、新聞信、海報(bào)、橫幅、登
陸頁(yè)等。
•設(shè)計(jì)并制作公司的PPT，并協(xié)作有可能進(jìn)行的視頻拍攝項(xiàng)目。

任職要求：
•擁有工業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)、視覺(jué)設(shè)計(jì)、傳播設(shè)計(jì)或其他相關(guān)專業(yè)的本科或碩士學(xué)歷。
•能以作品集的形式呈現(xiàn)申請(qǐng)者在多個(gè)設(shè)計(jì)中承擔(dān)過(guò)重要角色的經(jīng)歷。（優(yōu)秀而全
面的設(shè)計(jì)能力是必須的，需要有包括排版、圖標(biāo)設(shè)計(jì)、配色等平面設(shè)計(jì)技能）
•能夠獨(dú)立完成從設(shè)計(jì)到制作的整個(gè)流程。
•能夠清晰地描述自己的設(shè)計(jì)方案。
•熟悉排版和柵格系統(tǒng)。關(guān)注細(xì)節(jié)、精確到像素。
•能在公關(guān)組和研究院內(nèi)推動(dòng)設(shè)計(jì)思維。
•能夠適應(yīng)快節(jié)奏與協(xié)作的工作環(huán)境。
•具有優(yōu)秀的溝通能力。
•具有優(yōu)秀的中文文字和編輯能力。
•具有較好的口頭和書面英語(yǔ)能力。
•擁有良好的公關(guān)意識(shí)。
•能夠自我激勵(lì)并高度關(guān)注細(xì)節(jié)。
•工作具有主動(dòng)性。

設(shè)計(jì)能力要求清單：
Adobe Photoshop， Illustrator， InDesign；

工作時(shí)間要求：
至少能全職實(shí)習(xí)3個(gè)月。需要得到導(dǎo)師的書面同意。

Microsoft Research Asia is recruiting interns for Stars of Tomorrow Internship
Program.

Group Overview
Microsoft Research Asia’s Public Relations Group is responsible for the Asia
lab’s communications, including driving communications strategy, public relat
ions, and brand marketing. The PR team works closely with the organization’s
senior executives, researchers and other stakeholders to communicate innovatio
n thought leadership and state-of-the-art research breakthroughs to audiences
all over the world. By telling stories about Microsoft Research Asia through
traditional, digital, and social media, the PR team enhances the public’s und
erstanding and appreciation of the lab and of Microsoft.

Roles & Responsibilities
The Public Relations Group of Microsoft Research Asia is recruiting a full-tim
e Graphic Design intern, who will work closely with PR team to create visually
and emotionally engaging communication materials. Intern must have profession
al understanding of Microsoft’s visual identity and design principles (known
as “Modern” or “Metro”).
Work will include high-visibility output for both online and physical assets f
or Microsoft Research Asia, including:
•Conceptualize and design graphics and infographics for a variety of on
line promotions on Microsoft Research Asia’s digital platform (Website, Weibo
, Renren, Blog)
•Be responsible for the design work for the PR Group’s regular communi
cation materials, including monthly and quarterly newsletter, and quarterly ma
gazine.
•Conceptualize and design integrated materials for PR campaigns through
web, email, and print communications (email reports, newsletters, posters, ba
nners, landing pages, other promotions, etc.)
•Conceptualize and design internal company collateral as needed (PPT pr
esentations, possibly video)

Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial Design, Visual Design, Communi
cation Design or related fields
•A portfolio that demonstrates experience as a decision maker on variou
s multidisciplinary design projects. (Design fundamentals are a must: portfoli
os should convey comfort with the graphic design medium including strong typog
raphy, layout, identity design, color, usability, and imagery, to name a few.)
•Ability to independently lead all aspects of the design process from c
onception to completion
•Clearly articulate design decisions
•Deep knowledge of typography and grid systems, pixel-perfect attention
to details
•Promote design thinking in Public Relationship team and MSR
•Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Collaboration and
mentor skill with outsourcing vendor design related company such as print co.
(experience working with graphic designers and agencies)
•Strong communication skills
•Strong writing and editing skills in Chinese
•Good oral and written English skills
•Good Sense of Public Relations work
•Self-motivated and high attention to details
•Proactive attitude
•A supervisor’s approval will be required

Design Skillsets (Fluency in design tools practices):
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (Expert Adobe skills)
Required Internship Duration
At least as a full time intern of 3 months.
