　　77. The most effective way to understand contemporary culture is to analyze the trends of its youth.

　　Reason: The reputation of anyone who is subjected to media scrutiny will eventually be diminished.

　　以上四道題目是李暉老師在考試后所收到的第一時間反饋，后三道李暉老師在GRE的強(qiáng)化和直通車班上都會有詳細(xì)的展開。

　　77題是一道結(jié)構(gòu)性很清楚的題目，大部分學(xué)生都會知道MOST effective的解題結(jié)構(gòu)就是“承認(rèn)合理性，指出相對缺陷，提出一個同等有用的方法”，結(jié)構(gòu)清楚，其實(shí)重點(diǎn)就在語言上。

　　首先，Issue的寫作，對于希望拿高分的同學(xué)來說非常重要，基本上作者是看到題目，思考了10秒就開始進(jìn)行開頭的寫作，腦海中只有一個想法 “the essay length, fancy words and a sprinkling of random, esoteric facts all correlate with high essay scores.”事實(shí)上，文章的長度，華麗的用詞以及偶爾掉個書袋都和高分文章緊密聯(lián)系。

　　76. The following appeared in a newsletter offering advice to investors.

　　"Over 80 percent of the respondents to a recent survey indicated a desire to reduce their intake of foods containing fats and cholesterol, and today low-fat products abound in many food stores. Since many of the food products currently marketed by Old Dairy Industries are high in fat and cholesterol, the company's sales are likely to diminish greatly and company profits will no doubt decrease. We therefore advise Old Dairy stockholders to sell their shares, and other investors not to purchase stock in this company.”

　　說得是關(guān)于銷售高脂肪和高膽固醇食品的公司股東如何對待股票的問題。

　　重點(diǎn)邏輯反駁點(diǎn)可以是：

　　1. survey，關(guān)于證詞類話題的討論;

　　2. intention vs action：關(guān)于人們是都真的會如同調(diào)查中所說的改變自己的消費(fèi)習(xí)慣

　　3. Old Dairy的innovation的問題：這家公司是不是已經(jīng)有相關(guān)的市場策略。

　　下面這道題目是我們今天要講解的重點(diǎn)，這是一道相對來說有點(diǎn)難度的題目，也是一道必須要看writing instruction的難題。

　　74. The president of Grove College has recommended that the college abandon its century-old tradition of all-female education and begin admitting men. Pointing to other all-female colleges that experienced an increase in applications after adopting coeducation, the president argues that coeducation would lead to a significant increase in applications and enrollment. However, the director of the alumnae association opposes the plan. Arguing that all-female education is essential to the very identity of the college, the director cites annual surveys of incoming students in which these students say that the school's all-female status was the primary reason they selected Grove. The director also points to a survey of Grove alumnae in which a majority of respondents strongly favored keeping the college all female.

　　Write a response in which you discuss what questions would need to be answered in order to decide whether therecommendation and the argument on which it is based are reasonable. Be sure to explain how the answers to these questions would help to evaluate the recommendation.

　　這個題目跟之前不一樣的是，之前是要學(xué)生來評價一個論點(diǎn)，現(xiàn)在是在這個論證中，已經(jīng)有人開始互相反駁了，那學(xué)生要做的，就是看要選邊來站。這道題目，我們推薦加強(qiáng)recommendation，削弱opposition的方式在展開，會比較容易展開。(建議手機(jī)橫屏閱讀)

其它學(xué)校招收男生之后招生增多	G校招收男生之后招生也會增多	以前不允許男生進(jìn)，所以男生就不申請，現(xiàn)在允許了，男生會申請，同時這也是一個很好的增加G校影響力的方案。	G校的影響力
將要來的學(xué)生普遍在調(diào)查中喜歡女校特質(zhì)	女校特質(zhì)受歡迎	那些申請了但是把G校拒掉的人以及根本不會申請G校的人，他們否定G校可能恰恰是不爽其女校特質(zhì)；         作為將要是這個學(xué)校的學(xué)生的人，很可能在調(diào)查中不好意思說學(xué)校的壞話	調(diào)查更廣闊的人；         調(diào)查方式是不是匿名
校友調(diào)查中大部分回復(fù)者支持女校	校友喜歡女校	很多不care是不是女校的校友根本不會回復(fù)；         調(diào)查的只是那些會在校慶日回到學(xué)校的校友，而這些人普遍是認(rèn)可這種理念的；         很可能通常給學(xué)校贊助的校友并不支持；而且很多校友很可能就是因?yàn)椴恢С謱W(xué)校的路線而不贊助	如何選擇樣本；         回復(fù)率；         一般給學(xué)校捐款的校友的傾向
