One of the mostserious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the pollutedair does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases anddeath. To protect theenvironment, governments of many countries have done a lot. Legislative stepshave been introduced to control air pollution, to protect the forest and searesources and to stop any environmental pollution. Therefore, governments areplaying the most important role in the environmental protection today.

In my opinion, toprotect environment, the government must take even more concrete measures.First, it should let people fully realize the importance of environmentalprotection through education. Second, much more efforts should be made to putthe population planning policy into practice, because more people means morepeople means more pollution. Finally, those who destroy the environmentintentionally should be severely punished. We should let them know thatdestroying environment means destroying mankind themselves.

保護(hù)環(huán)境

目前環(huán)保還存在著許多問題。最嚴(yán)重的問題就是空氣、水和土壤的嚴(yán)重污染。污染的空氣對人類的健康十分有害。污染的水引起疼病，造成死亡。更有甚者，隨著現(xiàn)代社會的迅速擴(kuò)建，植被大大的減少。

為了保護(hù)環(huán)境，各國政府做了大量的工作。采用了立法措施控制大氣污染，保護(hù)森林資源和海洋資源，制止任何環(huán)境污染。因此，在當(dāng)今的環(huán)保中政府起著最重要的作用。

我的看法是，為了保護(hù)環(huán)境，政府應(yīng)當(dāng)采取更具體的措施。首先，應(yīng)當(dāng)通過教育的方法使人們充分謒到環(huán)境保護(hù)的重要性。第二，應(yīng)更加努力把計劃生育政策付諸實施，因為人口多就意味著污染嚴(yán)重。最后，要嚴(yán)懲那些故意破壞環(huán)境者。使他們破壞環(huán)境就是毀滅人類自己。
