【篇一】
The Panda in China
A panda looks like a little bear. It has black and white fur. It lives only in China, so it is called the national treasure of China and protected by the law.
We all see panda on TV or in the zoo. They look stupid and walk slowly, but they are lovely and everyone likes them.
A panda is lucky animal. We Chinese like it, and people of the world like it, too. Now there are China’s pandas in many other countries, such as Japan and the USA… A panda isn’t a common animal, it is bridge of friendship.

熊貓看起來(lái)好像一只小熊。它的皮毛是黑白相間。 它只居住在中國(guó),因此,它是中國(guó)的國(guó)寶,受到國(guó)家法律的保護(hù)。
我們?cè)陔娨暽匣蛟趧?dòng)物園里能看到熊貓。他們看起來(lái)顯得很笨的樣子,走起來(lái)很緩慢,但很可愛(ài),大家都很喜歡它們。
熊貓是個(gè)吉祥的動(dòng)物。中國(guó)人*喜歡它,世界人*也喜歡它,F(xiàn)在許多國(guó)家都有中國(guó)的熊貓,如,日本、美國(guó)……熊貓不是一種普通的動(dòng)物,而是一座友誼的橋梁。
【篇二】
The Thirsty Pigeon
A PIGEON, oppressed by excessive thirst, saw a goblet of water painted on a signboard.
Not supposing it to be only a picture, she flew towards it with a loud whir and unwittingly dashed against the signboard, jarring herself terribly. Having broken her wings by the blow, she fell to the ground, and was caught by one of the bystanders.
Zeal should not outrun discretion.

《口渴的鴿子》
有只鴿子口渴得很難受,看見(jiàn)畫(huà)板上畫(huà)著一個(gè)水瓶,以為是真的。他立刻呼呼地猛飛過(guò) 去,
不料一頭碰撞在畫(huà)板上,折斷了翅膀,摔在地上,被人輕易地捉住了。
這是說(shuō),有些人想急于得到所需的東西,一時(shí)沖動(dòng),草率從事,就會(huì)身遭不幸。
【篇三】
Belling the cat
long ago,there was a big cat in the house.He caught many mice while they were stealing food.
One day the mice bad a meeting to talk about the way to deal with their common enemy.Some said this,andsome said that. At last a young mouse got up,and said that he had a good idea.“We could tie a bell around the neck of the cat.Then when he comes near,we can hear the sound of the bell,and run away.”
Everyone approved of this proposal,but an old wise mouse got up and said,“That is all very well,but who will tie the bell to the cat?”The mice looked at each other,but nobody spoke.

《給貓掛鈴鐺》
很久以前,房子里有只大貓。他抓住了許多偷吃糧食的老鼠。
一天,老鼠們開(kāi)會(huì)討論對(duì)付貓的辦法。有的說(shuō)這樣,有有的說(shuō)那樣。最后一只小老鼠站起來(lái),說(shuō)他有一個(gè)好辦法:我們給貓的脖子上拴一個(gè)鈴當(dāng),當(dāng)貓走近的時(shí)候,我們就可以聽(tīng)到鈴聲,就可以逃跑了。
每個(gè)老鼠都同意這個(gè)建議,但是一只老老鼠站起來(lái)說(shuō):那誰(shuí)去給貓戴上鈴當(dāng)呢?老鼠們你看我,我看你,沒(méi)人出聲了。
